The main purpose of the project is to restore the natural ecological environment of the area, expand the amount of land resources in the treatment area, increase the available land, effectively improve the value of land use and promote the sustainable development of the local economy through the implementation of the abandoned brick factory treatment project.
The project content includes abandoned building demolition; slope cutting project (soil cutting, slope shaping); clearing project (removal of solid waste and slag pile after demolition, and backfilling); leveling project (including pit bottom leveling, site leveling after demolition and surrounding terrain shaping); mulching project; soil transportation project; vegetation restoration project (sowing grass seed); fence net erection project; the installation of notice boards, the removal of abandoned buildings in the office area of the former brick factory; the removal and shaping of the foundation, and other works (monitoring and maintenance works).
The construction period is short because the Xilinhot coal mine is located in a colder area, and the earthwork of the project started in September and ended in November 2020, and the vegetation restoration project started in June and ended in July 2021. After the relevant leaders of the Party A and the experts inspected the construction site together, they considered that the project was completed in good quality and quantity and gave unanimous praise.
