From August 13 to 14, 2022, hosted by China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization, the review meeting of " Standard for Unsaturated Soil Test Methods" was held in Shijiazhuang and successfully passed the expert review. General Manager Li Huawei attended as the chief editor and addressed the meeting on behalf of the standard drafting team.
The " Standard for Unsaturated Soil Test Methods" fills the gap of unsaturated soil test method standard in China, and is the first systematic and complete unsaturated soil test method standard at home and abroad, reaching the international advanced level. It achieves a breakthrough in the field of unsaturated soil test methods in China, responds to the national demand of "The Belt and Road" and building an innovative country, and has an important guiding significance to standardize unsaturated soil test methods and improve the technical level of geotechnical test in China, and provides scientific basis for scientific research and engineering investigation, design and construction in unsaturated soil areas in China.
